Newsday is running an article entitled, "Another nervous Thursday in London," referring to the fear that 7/28 may have been the date of another terrorist attack, much in the same way 7/7 unfortunately was and 7/21 almost was.
As a result, the article notes that South Asians were viewed with even greater suspicion on Thursday: "When dark-skinned or South Asian men with knapsacks enter the Tube, other passengers -- including dark-skinned or South Asian men with knapsacks -- stare at them nervously, or change cars."
Also mentioned is a bit of trivia that has escaped popular attention. Tavistock Square, where the double-decker bus exploded on 7/7, "is graced by a statue of" none other than: Mahatma Gandhi.
