"Del Singh [pictured]... suffered at the hands of ignorance after the September 11 terrorist attacks. He fears similar scenes in the coming weeks. Mr Singh said: 'Unfortunately there are certain people out there who are going to try to take their anger out on the wrong people. In the next week or two Osama Bin Laden will be back on our screens or other people with an image of a beard and a turban supporting al Qaeda. People will see that image as evil.'"
"They will associate that image with terrorists and that is not good for Sikhs in the city. The people that hijacked the planes in 2001 also hijacked my identity. I have major concerns that there will be a backlash to this major atrocity and the wrong people will get blamed for it."
